.......and so it begins! Not with a bang but a good whimper, but that's because a portion of my opening day was spent in the dentist's chair getting two teeth pulled! Nonetheless, Red Willow Catering was successfully launched yesterday after two months of diligent labors, delightful laughter, and very few moments of true distress. I have to give all glory to our Heavenly Father as he not only has sent multiple green lights but made the road wide, paved, and open to this new venture. All signs were obvious enough even we couldn't miss his grace and favor! Next, my wonderful big sister, Delana needs huge kudos and applause! What a marvel this woman is! Her business acumen is second to none, and the scope of her creativity and understanding of what needs to be done has been marvelous. She took stock and then moved forward (and kept me moving when I would have stalled in confusion), thank you, Lana!
Thank you's need to go to our wonderful husbands and families for putting up with our distractedness and long hours. Your support and encouragement is wonderful as we dream our dreams and ply you with new recipes and old favorites. Although, sometimes your meals have been neglected as we plan for others! Our learning curve is really just beginning as we now have to put our experience and ideas into practice. I love to feed people. I love the whole process of watching fellowship develop over good food. I love having all the wonderful new kitchen toys to play with. Really, my excitement over our 18 quart brazier borders on hysterical! I just wanna cook!
